So it's more than a simple fix and costs a good bit to replace. But the cost of just one major injury where you lose a finger or worse is so much greater. And when used in a commercial or industrial setting you have to look at lost productivity, workmans comp, liability, and everything else. This is an awesome invention. It was REALLY cool, the inventor actually put his finger in front of one and they caught the whole event on camera! The entire saw was ruined by the event (the blade gets jammed back into the housing) BUT I would pay another $100 for a saw any day compared to the pain/cost of fixing the finger!
